On December 4, 2018 Sol Petroleum Bermuda Limited supported the Bermuda Diabetes Association with a contribution of $4,500, presented at Sol Headquarters in St. George’s.
The cheque was presented by Sol Bermuda Retail Sales Executive Che Barker to Debbie Jones, Chairman of the Board, of the Bermuda Diabetes Association [BDA]. These funds will assist the association with its ongoing educational programmes and patient counselling sessions.
General Manager of Sol Bermuda, Jonathan Brewin, commented, “Diabetes is an epidemic across the island and at Sol we strongly believe in the work that the Bermuda Diabetes Association is doing to reduce the prevalence of diabetes and improve the lives of those affected. As part of the local community, we will do what we can to be part of the solution moving forward, and looking to participate in a number of initiatives over the next year with the BDA.”
