Join us in applauding Edna Laura Pérez, General Counsel of the international segment at Parkland Corporation, also known as The Sol Group. Under Mrs. Pérez’s guidance, the legal team has played a pivotal role in supporting Parkland International’s expansive operations across 23 countries in the Caribbean and South America.
Mrs. Pérez’s and the Sol legal team advise on all matters affecting Parkland International’s business including in areas of corporate, real estate, franchising, intellectual property, environmental, finance, regulatory compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Her strategic vision has been instrumental in navigating the company through significant acquisitions, contributing to its rapid growth in the region.
Mrs Perez was recently included in The Legal 500, GC Powerlist – Puerto Rico 2023, which recognizes the achievements of outstanding general counsel and chief legal officers for their exceptional contributions and exemplary leadership. This prestigious event, held at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel on November 14th, brought together Puerto Rico’s legal community to celebrate the achievements of senior legal counsel from various industries who are driving business forward.
