Sol recently partnered with St. Georges Lion’s Club Food Drive through contributions to Food Vouchers for vulnerable families.
The initiative enabled the Lions Club team to support local food security efforts through the provision of food baskets to forty (40) families.

Grenada Sailing Week 2023 was powered by Sol and Mobil!
TBT to when our team members attended the final race day of Grenada Sailing Week where we were proud to co-sponsor Race Day together with Netherland Insurance, distributing a total of 15 prizes. Grenada Sailing Week (GSW) was established in 2013, and is a vital part of the local sporting and tourism calendar.
Sol is proud to have supported the event in line with our mission to energise sporting and cultural events in the communities we serve.
Sol recently supported the Annual St. John’s Lions Club’s “Fish-Is-It” health initiative in the area of the Gouyave Nutmeg Pool. Sol’s provision of groceries and a Sol Gas cylinder, helped with the preparation of the delicious fish dishes that were on sale. The event was a great success, and the proceeds will aid in the implementation of the Club’s various initiatives that will benefit parishioners of St. John and St. Mark. These initiatives will support diabetes, cancer, environmental protection and mitigation, youth, parenting and poverty. Sol is thrilled to partner with the St. John’s Lions Club and to support a community initiative that promotes the health and well-being of Grenadians and that is aligned with our purpose of Powering Journeys and Energizing Communities.
Sol Grenada promotes anti-littering and encourages you to use our waste disposal bags and display our bumper stickers so you too can be an advocate for a cleaner environment. Thanks to the Grenada Tourism Authority for teaming up with us on this initiative.
Sol Grenada recently executed a Back to School Give away to the children within the community of the Grand Mal area. School Stationery Supplies and Uniforms were presented to newly secondary school entrants as well as primary school children. The event was well attend by the children and their parents of the area, who were very appreciative of the gesture.

Customers in Grenada will soon experience this rewarding opportunity, when the Free Fuel For Life promotion is launched later this month.
This highly anticipated promotion will begin at select Sol service stations on January 21, 2016. One lucky customer will claim the ultimate prize of Free Fuel For Life from Sol, valued at EC$6,000 per year. With every EC$50 spent in fuel at participating service stations across the island, customers will receive an entry form to participate in the competition.The promotion will run for a period of 10 weeks and will conclude on March 31, 2016. The grand prizewinner will be selected on April 4, 2016.
Speaking on the upcoming launch of ‘Free Fuel For Life!’ in the Grenada market, Sol EC Ltd – Grenada Country Manager, George Bain Jr. said, “The level of support we have received since the introduction of the Sol brand in Grenada has been tremendous! We want to publicly show our appreciation to our loyal, dedicated customers by giving them this rewarding opportunity to go even further with free fuel for life. Customers participating in the ‘Free Fuel For Life!’ promotion will also have additional opportunities to win prizes and enjoy a number of courtesy services with two weekly activities: ‘Tune-up Thursdays’ and ‘Fantastic Fridays’. On select Thursdays throughout the promotion period, a special team will be on site at pre-determined stations to offer complimentary oil, tire and fuel checks. This team will also be distributing Sol-branded tokens to customers. The ‘Fantastic Fridays’ promotion will occur on select Fridays during the promotion period, when a special team will conduct weekly draws at pre-determined stations. The prize for these weekly draws will be fuel prizes valued at EC$250.
